Words to live by

I am a warrior. I do as my King asks.
I am the dog that gets beaten and then asks for more.
When my King lays down his sword I will lay mine.
If my King falls in battle I will fight until my last breath for his honor.
I am a Warrior of the Alliance.
(My head)

It's been a long time since I've had to prove myself.
It's been a long time since I've been tested.
It happens from time to time.
And, I have to show my worth.
But I'm used to it.
I'm a Warrior.
That's what I do.

Mute

I finally became a Champion of Darnassus.  I have a tiny squire that follows me around with the flag of Darnassus on his back.  I call him Roy since he never told me his name.  I do hope to Champion Stormwind one day in the Argent Tournament.
During my dialy quests of slaying the undead that roam Icecrown I heard news of a raid on the Vault of Archavon.  I yelled out for the raid leader to invite me, but she has me on mute.  Apparently she can't figure out the very simplistic interface to adjust my volume on ventrilo. I tried getting the others to speak to her about it, but she only half listens to everyone.  She never pays attention enough to anyone.  I really want to shove a headset into her face and yell into it.  When I couldn't get in to the raid I just decided to quit for the night.  Sigh...being me is hard...

Merger

So a merger is happening between my guild and Nex Ero Liberation (I think that's the correction name).  I hate this because it means no more raiding for me.  My guild leader has been beaming about all the new DPS and tanks that we will be getting, but what about the DPS and Tanks we already have?  Don't forget about your real guildies!  Don't lose sight of who was there for our progression into Naxxramas, Malygos, Sartherion!  My DPS isn't up in the numbers like the Nex Ero, but it's the best I can do with my shitty computer.  I just hope I'm not lost and forgotten...it's one of my greatest fears...

Arms vs Fury

So today i set once again to grind my dailies and get my dual spec.  When i finally got enough money it felt bitter sweet.  Yes, I can now dual-spec as a Tank, but that means more work.
I first tested Arms and Fury specs on a Test Dummy in Ironforge.  Arms was roughly 2.1k dps whereas Fury was 1.5k dps.  This test was done with no buffing whatsoever and I used no major cooldowns.  I was really sad to see my Fury spec go.  Those 2 twohanded weapons looked sweet crossing my back, but for raiding's sake I have to go Arms.
Once I removed Fury from my spec it was time to set up my Protection spec.  I have some amazing defenzive gear gathered through Naxxramas runs, but it's nothing at the same time.  I only have fucking 474 defense after spec and gear are set.  This sucks...I can't dps and I certainly can't tank.  Sigh...I'm gonna stop playing for a bit and get some food...

Issues

So since I can't seem to "connect" properly with my wireless I strategically decided to sit this raid night out.  I told my guild leader that I could not raid very efficiently tonight with my current connection.  I'll just mill about on Horde side and see how our competion, the guild Bane, is doing in Ulduar.

Reset Button

By Elune's dress!  My guild leader has us doing Eye of Eternity 25-man, 25-man Naxxramas, and Sartherion 25-man with drakes up tonight.  He wants us to do these instead of Ulduar.  Does he really think having us do old raids will help us with new ones??
Honestly, the only way to progress is to get XT-002 Deconstructor down.  We can't even do 2 Drakes Sartherion!  What makes him think we can do Razorscale?!

The Beginning

So first blog post eh?........

Not much to say.  I'm known as Dragonberry on Farstriders server.  I'm currently a Fury Warrior raiding in the new Ulduar content.  Yea, I know Arms seems better, but I tried it and failed miserably, so Fury I am.  My guild has only downed the Flame Leviathan on Normal Mode in the 25-man version of Ulduar.  Yea, we suck.  My guild leader can't get it through his head that we need to skip Razorscale and Ignor and just head on to XT-002 Deconstructor.

I went in with a 10-man group, of guildies, and we downed XT-002 Decon today after some tries in hammering out a strategy.  We can down Decon easily in 25-man, I know and half the guild knows it, but not the Guild Leader.

Honestly, I hope he wakes up soon, otherwise half the guild will server transfer, juest leave guild, or do what I'm doing; re-rolling Horde side.   He is threatening to do a guild merger and replace us with others from the merger, but that just makes us raiders not care even more.

...Wow, I actually let out some nice stuff.  Well, I have to get back to grinding dailies before work right now.  Need that crap for my repair bills since we just love to bang out heads against the wall in Ulduar.
